Society 1989

A beautiful, moist, mess. Spectacular final 20 minutes, but the lead-up isn't quite as tight as it could be.

What a ride! Love the dark humors in there. The theme was decent and well put together. The third act was really wild!! I didn't expect that at all. It was fun, thrilling, bizzare, and unsettling.

It tackles an interesting concept and has some funny stuff to say about it. It's a social satire that could be more poignant if it wasn't soo damn wacky...

More enjoyable than I expected. The script was sometimes lazy but its cheesy, funny and creepy enough throughout to be entertaining. There is also an element of mystery that also keeps the viewer interested. The payload at the end is unforgettable. The subtext is obvious but really important. To summarise the movie; it combines dark humour and weird themes with a societal message whilst finishing with the most bizarre and grotesque effects for the hell of it. 8 because the message is so visual.
