[AtlàntidaFF] The true story of three friends who, after taking the drug Spice, had an episode of hysteria and hallucinations (one of them ended up with a disfigured face), the director turns it into a slasher massacre, perhaps to reinforce the anti-drug message. The film scratches the surface and avoids going too deep, but at least offers an intelligent representation of a heteropatriarchal, homophobic, misogynistic and violent Belarusian society, reflecting an idiosyncrasy that is torn between pagan superstitions and religious orthodoxy.
