I really can´t understand why so many people fail to understand the ending scene...
it was a fantastic film. A little bit like Melancholia in some ways. I would love to have seen an alternative ending whereby when Curtis opens the Shelter doors. All you see is destruction proving he is not mad. THE END.. I just think the build up to him opening the doors would have been more satisfying. I have great respect for Michael Shannon, he was fantastic in Revolutionary road. I have also been following the career of Jessica Chastain since Jolene...and i can see a few oscars for these two in the future.
I started it on Netflix because I didn't know what to watch and... I'm surprised.
This film is fantastic. I am speechless.
Bored and Slow.
