Pointless sequel fails to scale new heights. The target audience will still like it, however.
I’m not sure why they felt TALL GIRL needed a sequel. This is weaker that the original which was only okay at best. And, personally, I think all the characters were eroded (and she definitely settled for the wrong guy). I give this sequel a 5 (meh) out of 10. [Young Dramedy]
i mostly like it for the pretty actors and singers/musicians (Sabrina Carpenter & Luke Eisner), not the script, because obviously the script was ridiculously unsatisfying, borderline shitty. There's so many scenes that could've been executed more elegantly, but they were not.
