Set seven years before the existing book/movie franchise. The film follows the adventures of several teenagers in the arena. As alliances are severed, they struggle with balancing morals and the desire to survive. The Games bring out the hostility in some and the humanity in others, leaving the tributes to wonder if the versions of the themselves broadcast from the arena are their true identities.
