Pretty weak sauce. A by-the-numbers ghost flick that fails to deliver any real scares and lacks any kind of logic in the storytelling. Seriously, the "science" presented is ridiculous.
Forgettable. It had its moments, but its the same thing from other horror movies, theres nothing new or remotely entertaining.
Do a favor to yourself and skip this one.
the only thing that made this worth watching was sebastian stan's face and even then the hair style was pretty upsetting
the apparition (2012) was just an extended metaphor about how no matter what you do, you cant escape the cold clammy hands of capitalism so you might as well just go in a tent conveniently located at your nearest costco and let it claim you
I was too distracted with Sebastian Stan's face and hair and everything to take this movie seriously.
What did I just watch? This wasn't even scary and bad. It was just bad. It was an interesting concept but executed badly and in truth probably could have been told in the span of 20 minutes rather than over an hour.
Some things that happen are never fully explained or if they were, I was so bored I wasn't fully paying attention and missed it. The female lead is so incredibly dull that even her "good looks" can't save her. The men are dumb and boring. Only Draco Malfoy aka Tom Felton is even remotely interesting and that's mostly because of his accent and I kept waiting for him to take out a wand and save the day.
You can pass on this one. I should have passed but I didn't believe the other reviews that said it was as bad as it was. Wrong. It really does stink.

Ashley Greene is too wooden an actor to carry a film as lead. it's boring, unscary - and forgettable, so much so, that ive watched this three times now, accidentally, because i keep forgetting ive seen it before.
