I didn't know what to expect but it felt like watching a pretentious student film. I mean it's wonderfully shot, the visual style is great, and I really like the overall mood but it's one of those films that rely heavily on absurdities and 'mysterious' characters to unsettle the viewers. Unfortunately that doesn't work for me. The dialogue is too unnatural and everyone's talking super slow. It's not very compelling and it lacks any real payoff. The ending is something that could've been resolved in even less time.
Pros: Good acting, beautiful shots
Cons: The entire movie is full of boring conversations and an overdose of repeating scenes ( crawling screne, calling names scene, staring scene....). Usually I like weird movies, big fan of Lynch here. But although the actors are good its just boring watching them and theres no connection to the viewer. I didnt like them. Lots of dialogue. Overall very strange and weird movie that makes no sense, but not comparable to the good mindfuck movies out there. No thanks.
The longest 72 minutes of my life.

One of the best indie horror films I have seen in a long time. Creepy, disturbing, surreal and melancholy, I can’t recommend The Bloodhound enough!
