The Dark Tapes 2017

i love this sub genre, but seriously.. where do they find these people and where did they learn to act?

A face only a found footage slut could love...

The one idea about the ghost hunters was decent, but even that segment was ruined by sub-par acting, much like the rest of the film.

Sadly, this VHS copy should've stayed on the shelf.

I started out liking the first story about a couple haunted by their deceased child, but the ending was pathetic. I was slightly interested in the night terrors wraparound but I couldn't make it through this. The acting was so bad and the characters were mostly self-absorbed jackasses. The found footage presentation of this made it even worse.

Avoid. The only good one seemed to be the bit with the new house and the noises (and child). Ruined of course. The rest is useless.

Terrible amateur acting and bad cg... inconsistent footage quality. if you're expecting something like VHS... you can avoid this movie.
