The Deer King 2021

I found it interesting in spite of the negative reviews, very much inspired by Princess Mononoke, with a non-trivial intertwining of themes.

Like joining a tour group in the middle, I don't know where this came from but I knew where it was headed.

This animated Japanese feature full of myth and magic didn't hold any surprises for me, but I still enjoyed the ride.
