a film which have 11 action hero but every heros entry was superb
I had a good time watching it, because the stooopid dialogs made me laugh so hard!
Seriously I had a sore throat :D
Everything is totally overdriven & its's incredible how predictable the plot is, you can literally tell every minute - except for one thing characters come and go and reappear again out of nowhere... oh boy.
This movie is so bad - it's almost good again. So I have to disagree with the comments below. IMO it's a shame for all the old action heroes.
Sorry Stallone, but this doesn't count as your best work!
When you have Stallone, Arnold, Bruce Willis, Chuck Norris, Van Damme, Jet Li, Stathan and Dolph Lundgren in one film, you know that whatever you are watching is going to be epic. The Expendables 2 is such an enjoyable film that it really just makes you give the film a standing ovation at the end of the movie. The chemistry between everybody in this film is off-the charts, and so is the action. From the classic references to previous films, to the classic one liners from our favorite 80's stars, "The Expendables 2" is a fun film that really makes the first film a forgotten piece. With Van Damme as a badass great villain and the great fantasy matchup between action stars at the climax, I definately recommend "The Expendables 2" to any action fan of all generations.
Everything you probably wanted part 1 to be. Possibly even everything you hoped part 3 would be as well. There's plenty of 80's action stars kicking ass. Part 1 and 3 pretty much wasted a great cast.
Bigger and undoubtedly better than the frist outing, The Expendables 2 dials everything up to 11 and gets us more old action heroes, more blood, higher body count, and even a, believe it or not, satisfying story.
I like this a bit better than the first one because the story is actually more than a knob to hang your action on. A very satisfying ending and bigger and better directed action scenes also contribute to making this one the best homage to old school action movies today.
Stallone has managed to assemble a great cast, and there are a few great moments between the old heroes that you have to see to believe.
Though...I still wonder about the physics of those clips...they HAVE to be bigger on the inside.
What a great film, so stupid it's great! All the actors know that is not a serious film and that's the point. Best dialogue in the film is between Schwarzenegger and Willis:
Schwarzenegger: I'm out of ammo, I'll Be Back
Willis: No no, you're always be back, I'll Be Back
Schwarzenegger: Yippe Ki Ya
PMSL at that point! Love this film.
Love the fact that Chuck Norris appears from nowhere to help 'save the day'. So many action stars, I haven't watch the third yet but will so it soon, can't wait till they release the forth!
