The Gambler isn't anything special. I found Mark Wahlberg to be totally miscast in this role and the character is unlikeable and uninteresting. John Goodman and Brie Larson do what they can in limited roles but this movie is a snore fest that is easily forgettable when all is said and done.
An oldie, but definitely worth watching again!
If you look up the word snore-fest in the dictionary, you will find this movie's name there. True story.

Definetely a good watch, entertaining and really gripping at moments, thanks to a very enjoyable Walberg performance . quality acting, Good filming, very good script.. but something is off and no matter how enjoyable the ride, that movie will be out of your mind within the hour of finishing it. Still a very entertaining movie for an easy watch after work !
