The Hunted 2003

"He can kill anybody without regret. Most of the people he killed never knew he was in the same room as them."

I don't know why this isn't talked about more. Benicio del Toro vs his ol' mentor Tommy Lee Jones in a The Fugitive style storytelling. It also has one of the most realistic knife fight scenes I have ever seen.

Solid thriller and of particular interest if you like films with knife fights.

Decent movie; the storyline was considerably sparse, not a lot of backstory to really let you know what's going on. Have to get considerably farther into the movie before you start to understand this was just a case of a soldier snapping. It was a great way to kill an hour and a half, though, and the scenery in much of the movie was definitely worth seeing.

I am sure it will remind you of the Fugitive due to Tommy Lee Jones after someone yet again. I am sure critics couldn’t look passed that, according to the bad reviews.
However the film isn’t like the Fugitive at all. Jones is after someone a lot more dangerous and he’s not playing a U.S. Marshall. He’s trying to stop a dangerous man, he trained (Benicio Del Toro).

The thing I like about this movie is that no one pretends. They don't have a wonderful score to set the atmosphere. No action sequences or OTT VFX sequences to blow your mind. It just is. There's just the chase.

Uninspired Action flick with nothing special to offer.
