Considering the synopsis, this was an unexpected delight. Although filmed in NZ, and with some classic NZ actors of the era, it was a much more professional effort that most NZ movies of the time - probably helped by some top class overseas actors.
Stair of the story is obviously Kelly Town / Kerry Fox - ultra professional nurse, and cool under pressure and finally showing her vulnerable side.
The end was a bit meandering, but overall, better than many of the time, has certainly stood the test of time better than many movies of the time, and is (despite the description) good health drama
