Watched this for the 1st time about 10 years ago and did not regret the rewatch!
Australia knows horror! I came across this a couple of years ago by accident and I’m so glad I did. This is a twisted family to say the least. The characters are built up really well. Great performances from a talented cast. It’s a thrill ride that flies through its 1hr 24 run time. This is not just your average high school slasher movie it’s much more than that. If you’re into low budget horrors give this a go and I’m sure it’ll surprise you
This was a wild ride and it will take a specific viewer to really like it! I enjoyed it, but I like my twisted horror/revenge flicks. This one is a quality entry into the genre, even if it is noticeably a lower budget.

Psychotic, sadistic, twisted and disgusting Australian torture porn gem! It's set during prom night but it couldn't be more of a Valentine's Day setting if it tried, lots of pinks and twisted romance. It could also make for the most disturbing Father's Day movie. The story is very simplistic there's not a whole lot to it except finding out just how much twisted they are... and man did I not know what I was getting myself into. Realistic looking gore, good pacing, awesome music choices, entertaining characters, thrilling third act and Robin McLeavy was excellently deranged. The friend and his girlfriend subplot served nothing and the ending wasn't bleak enough.

This deserves a prequel about Princess’s prolific life.

Wow, how I despised that evil bitch and her father. Sick twisted demented family from hell. I was hoping their end would come soon, but on the other hand, I wanted to see what other sick and evil twists would encompass the film. Another good horror that doesn’t need silly monsters or ghosts to scare you, as real life is so much scarier!
Like sex with someone out of your league, they had to work too hard to make this last long enough. Still, there were some unexpected twists that made this enjoyable over all.
I heard a lot of praise for this movie over the past 3 or 4 years so that left me with some very high expectations for this one, unfortunately those expectations may have been too high. While I must admit it has some interesting concepts, I still ended up finding a good chunk of the movie to be a bit boring. I would only really recommend this to someone who is really into the 'torture porn' genre. Some moments that are meant to build up suspense ended up being sort of laughable to me. The only time I found myself fully immersed was at the end scenes where the protagonist finally is getting the upper hand. Don't get me wrong though, I still say it is worth 1 watch. Mostly due to the sick but somehow creative, interesting concepts you see in the film, more specifically those that revolve around the villains and what became of their previous victims.
The biggest problem with the movie is the fact that they kept cutting back to the main character's best friend and his prom date, I am 100% convinced that you could take out every single one of those scenes and it would change nothing. You also really have to suspend your disbelief in my opinion, I refuse to believe that the main character would be walking just fine after what he experienced in one scene, but that's just me nitpicking at this point.
It definitely takes inspiration from The Texas Chainsaw Massacre's (1974) dinner scene (which is actually another film that I ended up laughing at). Only this film has less focus on tension and mostly focuses on the gore fest it wants to show off. If you're into gore films definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed.
Creepy kills. Daughter and father killers I think the dad did terrible things to her growing up and tainted her brain. psychopath ppl. worth watching once for sure.
Glorified torture porn, and hardly anything more than that. Interesting aspects of it but nothing I'd ever need to see again or have a reason to show anyone, horror fan or otherwise.
If you love horror, zaniness and creativity, you have no choice but to watch this .

Okay-ish idea but terribly boring. It's more a comedy movie than a horror movie. And how is this guy able to walk around with a freaking hole in his head?
@luckymojo: I saw the film in a small but packed cinema at a midnight screening. The audience was laughting tears in the end (even my friend who isn't into horror films). It's far from glorified torture porn :o!

Some of the creative choices are hilariously misguided, but it was overall enjoyable, even if much of it was just...boring.
