Terrific fun thanks to underplaying by Sellers.

I hadn´t realized how little screentime Sellers actually had in this first installment of the Pink Panther series. Nevertheless it is one of the all time classic comedies.

This is the first film of the Pink Panther series. The story might be a bit slow sometimes but you won't forget the silly, funny and bumbling moments of the Inspector Jacques Clouseau. He is trying to ensure the safety of a diamond called The Pink Panther and his wife is on the team of the thief who wants to steal it.
It's a good comedy but I thought it would be more funnier than it actually was probably because Peter Sellers didn't appear that much in the film which is a shame. I hope that changes in the next three films because he was great!
