The Returned 2013

10 minutes after watching it, I could barely remember the plot. I found it completely forgettable.

Probably the other movie I’d as choice (to watch again the marvellous The Mist) would have been a better choice.
Not because this is a bad movie, but it’s one of those movie I need to be in the mood to watch it.
First of all I can hardly define it as horror. I mean, ok, there are zombies, but it’s more an excuses for the plot than the main thing.
It’s more a drama (zombie drama :D) that’s show us how far people would go for their loved ones, how society will act barbarically (as if we dunno that) in name of something they are sure it’s the right and compelling truth.
The story is good enough and the actors do their jobs but the rhythm is kinda of slow, action is limited and probably I’d have liked it more in an another moment, but actually I felt pretty bored by it.
I can admit it can be simply my fault :)

So bad. Had potential, but just got worse and worse. Ending was just awful.

That was pretty meh up until a worse ending. I knew what I was getting into but that was all too surface and bound in the genre as to be taken seriously.
