The Rites of May 1976

It's pretty long with not much content. Good point is that it shows an atmosphere and culture we're not really used to, but it's disappointing in the end.

You get the whole story pretty early (well, relatively because there is a long duration of nothing at the beginning). Boy meets girl. Girl is half possessed by her dead sister. Boy's father was the one that killed her. It just takes so long to have the confirmation, in a not that climax way.

The movie spends so much time hinting at something more interesting, but it's just not there. Even the title, Itim, comes from a scene with a old man behaving weirdly, like possessed, repeating the word. But that's it. He's never seen again and it's totally unrelated to the story.
