Stumbled slightly in the final act, but all in all it was a pretty good holiday horror.
This better-than-expected horror flick is worth sacrificing your time for.
really loved the movie! the aesthetic of it, music, interpretations. going to my fav list without a second thought :heart:
Badass first scene! the camerawork, the song choice, the brutality, too bad for the CGI blood but it was the perfect way to start the movie.
So many movie influences but it especially made me think of The Strangers and Who Invited Them (2022). Good looking movie, good acting, nice soundtrack and the camerawork is respectable. The youngest cast member Georgia Acken turned out to be the best performance. The cult membres have charisma and create entertaining interactions. Very predictable twist. I enjoyed the movie a lot more before the twist. I don't like what it turned into, It got way too ridiculous and laughable. Good ending despite this.

I was really enjoying it the whole time with the older feel of the movie. But the ending didn't do it justice. Felt like they kind of just said, screw it, we got to end this quick.
