This is the first official entry in A Ghost Story for Christmas and it's not a good start to the series. The story follows a scholar who discovers a mysterious box in a library that leads him to piece together a chain of events leading to the murder of an archdeacon. The technical aspect of this film is great considering this is a TV production. Some creepy imagery and great lighting in the darker scenes but overall I find it very slow and not very engaging. The way the story's told is tedious and it suffers from the lack of scares and tension. My least favorite so far.
