This is why I don't want to let my wife pick movies.
The raunchy sex comedy The Sweetest Thing is an atrociously awful piece of garbage. After connecting with a guy at a bachelor party Christina takes her friend on a road trip in order to crash the wedding in hopes of seeing him again. The comedy is cartoonishly stupid and really goes out of its way to be vulgar (like it’s trying to prove a point). And, it’s painful to watch Cameron Diaz and Christina Applegate debase themselves with this insipid filth. Yet at times the film flirts with “it's so bad it’s good” territory. Trashy and tasteless, The Sweetest Thing is anything but.

Silly and dumb but in a good early 2000's way. These 3 friends go well together and I couldn't stop laughing at Thomas Jane's parted hair. And of course the penis song... who doesn't like that song! The bloopers during the credits are something I think every comedy should add as well (Rush Hour style).
Boring and cringy. I don’t mind raunchy movies at all, and the 2000’s was THE era of raunchy, flirty, chick flicks. However, this movie tried so hard to be iconic and failed SO badly. I was home alone while watching this and still felt embarrassed that it was on my tv. Definitely missed the mark :/
