What the other commenters here obviously don't realize is that this "recobbled cut" is a fan made attempt at finishing Richard Williams' original planned version of this movie, which never saw the light of day thanks to executive meddling. Obviously since some scenes that Williams had planned were never finished in the first place, the best that could be done was using the original storyboard images in their place. Despite that this is still better than the Miramax and Allied Filmmakers versions that were released and which Williams had nothing to do with.

This was a movie that was in and out of production from 1964 to 1993. As a matter of fact Disney's Aladdin ripped off some designs and small plot points off this movie, only to end up having the crappy Miramax version rip off Aladdin with its addition of lackluster musical numbers and pop culture references.

A hot mess of unfinished work. The "recobbled" parts are almost sketch drawings. Ironically, the unfinished art still syncs with the audio. Psychadelic garbage at times. The story almost makes no sense; but you keep hoping each time you start to get interested that somehow the movie will save itself. It never happens; but the one thing I did take away from it was how blatanly obvious Disney's Aladdin seemed to "borrow" some characters, themes and dare I say - style - to make Aladdin a success. I actually sat through the entire movie out of curiosity; but it was painful, so only watch if you are truly bored or are curious about hand drawn art from another time period.

Kind of sad how messy this film is. Switching from what looks like a final animation to really rough sketch animation.
