A visually enchanting story of love, betrayal and reconciliation. The haunted King of Sicilia, Leontes, wrongly accuses his wife Hermione of infidelity with his friend Polixenes. Tragedy ensues and baby Perdita is banished from her father's kingdom. Leontes lives in torment and regret until a miracle occurs which leads to the light and laughter of an emotional reunion. Intricate puppet animation gives the characters human depth, while the backgrounds lend the setting an ethereal air.
