No Donnie Yen... No humour... No story to speak of... Severe pacing problems...
The only thing that saves this one from total mediocrity, is the fact that Yuen Woo-ping is also a martial arts choreographer. Although NOT as good as the other two Tiger Cage films, the action IS well above average, and makes Tiger Cage 3 a tolerable watch for fans of the genre.
To be honest, I haven't seen this since I saw it for the first time back in the mid 90s, and it was not as bad as I remember it, but I probably wouldn't have revisited this one if it hadn't been for the 88 Films box set,
