Entertaining if you don't count the religious conflicts and typical melodrama

Disappointed, not worth it to watch

Toofan is a familiar and conventional film which adds very little to the genre, yet this glorified underdog story has the spirit which is unwavering. Thanks to Rakeysh's competent direction, Farhan's resolute and hard-hitting performance, Shankar Ehsaan Loy's soul-stirring music, and substantial support from Mrunal and Paresh Rawal, this film elevates beyond its stereotypes of cliched sports drama. Sad we couldn't watch this emotional rollercoaster in the cinemas.
