As ever, the late Jeff "Golly gee, I won a gold medal at the Olympics so that makes me an expert at everything pertaining to mixed martial arts even though I've never set foot inside the octagon." Blatnik's idiotic drivel as an "analyst" continues to annoy the stuffings out of me. But - all his moronic ramblings aside, I'll try to leave my review limited only to the card itself...which wasn't half-bad, except for the Japanese matches. And since this was based in Japan and focused primarily on Japanese fighters, you can pretty much figure out that this entire card sucked balls. What a stinker. And Blatnik - what an appropriate name for him because all he does his "blat" about stuff he knows nothing about - continues his one-sided, completely non-objective "analysis" of almost every match. I swear, the dude must have had money on every match because he continually "called" matches as though they were always in favor of whomever he was infatuated with at the moment. The match between Pedro Rizzo and Tsuyoshi Kohsaka was definitely worth watching, as was the match between Joe Slick and Jason DeLucia. It was a pure delight to see that egotistic loser DeLucia go down screaming in agony when he wrenched his knee during a takedown. Idiot. Learn to go with the fall and fight from your back and maybe you won't blow your knee out. I didn't like the dude when he came strutting into the octagon in UFC 1 to get his butt handed to him by "My daddy came up with the whole idea of this UFC tournament so you Americans have to let me win." Royce Gracie and to see him crying all over again just made this otherwise snoozefest of a card worth watching.
You can find the first two parts of this on YouTube, but you'll have to poke around and find the final two matches. The idiots on DailyMotion neglected to upload the third of 4 parts. Not that I'm surprised: their uploads are always backward anyway and you have to completely flip the videos just to keep them watchable. Here, not even flipping the videos helped. They all sucked.
