[SEFF] Narrated in two stages, in the post-Soviet Lithuania of 1989 and the present, the film presents the complexity of the nature of love. This uncertain relationship between the two protagonists also describes a future full of uncertainties. The return to a lake where love was consolidated ends up being a confusing vision ("I don't remember the lake this way"). The film has echoes of Eric Rohmer and Sharunas Bartas (the main actress is his daughter and he makes a cameo himself), but he gets lost in that look between times, there are too many words and little emotion is transmitted.
