White Noise 2020

Racist ideas, no, common sense!

White Noise and Alt-Right: Age of Rage both explore the same subject, arrive at the same points and mostly interview the same people. At the end of the day I found White Noise to be slightly more informative and less 'look at the idiots' than Age of Rage. Both are superficial looks at the meteoric rise of the alt-right, but both forget to zoom in on the why's and wherefore's. Passing attempts are made, but none deep enough to matter in the grand scheme of the documentary. White Noise focuses more on Cernovich and Southern, Age of Rage follows Spencer (and Identity Evropa). The picture you are left with at the end is similar: Where do we go from here, how do we talk to these people, and are they really in it for the ideology.

Conclusion: Watch it to gawp at the brown-shirted freaks, but expect no exploration of the deeper meaning of it all.

Was prepared for an informative but depressing show. Pleasantly surprised to find this movie absolutely hilarious. The three people are clownish, thoughtless, self absorbed nitwits.
