A great movie. Not sure what movie the 2 bad reviewers here saw. It's a winner of 2 Oscars and Harrison Ford was nominated for it. Witness is definitely one of his best.
I consider this a classic, Harrison and Kelly play these beautiful characters.
They really make the story believable and a joy to experience the Amish world. Lukas Haas is spot on being "Samuel". Although the pace is slow, it keeps you glued to the screen.
Definitely recommend to watch, the Amish way of life is something to consider in this day and age ..

I enjoyed the movie, but I was expecting Book and Rachel to start a relationship either with Book joining the Amish or Rachel and Samuel leaving to go with Book back to the city.
I don't get the high rating, for a movie in 1985 this didn't look good, i could get use to the setting and feel of the era.

This is a solid crime drama with a little bit of a twist. Harrison Ford is great, as always. The score was pretty good too. The ending let me down a little.
