I like how this episode basically says hey, yeah, all of the Kim plot up until this point has been more or less worthless. I mean, it was obvious as we were watching it, but it's nice to have it be confirmed.
The reveal of the boyfriend missing a leg goes back to what I said about the episode where the car crashed - it felt like there was a missing scene that would've given context as to why Kim left him behind.

Tony's accusatory "do you always take you phone into the bathroom?" is a funny bit of antiquity. Maybe it wasn't commonplace in 2003, but nowadays, the answer is a resounding well duh.

– Tony (suspicious): Do you always take a phone to the bathroom?
– Me in 2020: Well.... yeah... you don't?

I'm not sure why they are still calling this day 2 when it is past midnight into the 3rd day? It's not like they are showing the past. I thought since they started this season at 8am (I believe the time was) on day 2 that this might have been something from the first 7 hours but it's not. So it really should be day 3 now and as such, season 3.
