Coming off the last few episodes and Carlos’s vengeance to find justice for his father, I wasn’t expecting this season finale to be this moving. Glad they brought back Gwyneth, even if it was for just a moment.

Had no idea Gina Torres could sing! And what a beautiful song they choose to go with. You can’t go wrong with Sondheim.

It’s interesting how they choose to end the season with the 9-1-1 call, instead of being the episode opener as it usually happens. I was convinced Owen would dwell on this “suggestion” from his brother for a few more episodes. (I just found out they are actually brothers in real life like whaaaaaat)

This is what 911 does best. Makes you cry

A lovely ending

Not a bad ending to the season. Paul getting chosen for a particular role was a bit odd, but other than that, well done. Judd is fairly going through his own personal arc as Wyatt suffers through his present struggle. Carlos' struggle with whether or not to go through with the wedding under the circumstances is understandable, and his reasonings for waffling are
understandable and thoughtfully portrayed. The wedding setting was used pretty well to wrap up and bring up some loose ends as well.

There is a certain character death that irks me some; while it's not technically something wholly unrealistic, I'm disappointed in who cooperates with it, and how that was handled considering that it goes against that character's ethos.

This was a very emotional episode, i almost cried at least 3 times... I just thought Carlos's vengeance would carry on to the next season, but they fixed it very shortly. The wedding was super cute, i LOVE my #Tarlos! <3

Damn, this episode at the end was harder for me than the last one. :sleepy: If you read my comment from the last episode, then you'd know why.

So, of course Carlos briefly gets off rails but Owen can pull him back... and then they have the beautiful wedding... where, honestly, I'd have liked to hear some remembrance of Carlos's father's death. Granted, we got his mother's sad face but then everyone was dancing and laughing... well, I didn't want to see a sort of wedding/funeral... but at least something. I mean they had Tommy sing that song of TK's mom's.

Of course, Judd and Wyatt are going to clash... which is exactly why a loved one shouldn't be in a role to push and care for a patient all in one. There's going to be a conflict, there are going to be blow-ups which a loved one might not be able to handle.

And then we have the end where Owen's brother kills himself (and asks Owen to make it look like he just died in his sleep)... again, I understand where he's coming from, but isn't this a bit very early in the game to end his life?
