My goodness.. I really didn't realize how old this show was, until I saw the many very young actors before they became stars. Erik King, Wendell Pierce (from Law & Order, and The Wire), and Angela Bassett. This was a serious episode as it dealt with domestic abuse, that being Angela as the abused. Kind of makes me wonder if this was why she get the part of that Tina Turner movie, "What's Love Got To Do With It?" Who knows? It had some pretty exciting moments in the show (for an oldie show). It was incredibly nostalgic to watch. "A Man Called Hawk," may not be all that by today's standards, but it was a great show for the time it was produced. It helped to launch a lot of careers.
