Pretty much as others said, no actual ending and well, now you know who the victor was if you go continue the story in the manga! (Although you probably know that beforehand) Other than that, it was not a bad watch, although it was not as intensive as Kaiji for me (Since it's from the same author) and i could predict quite a bunch of stuff since thanks to similar anime I've watched. But the series is more about the plays and the very high stakes anyway.
And well, i learned some stuff about Mahjong. That's a bonus.
