Not sure how to keep your storyline progressing? No problem, just have some random character reappear and tell "what really happened", with some flashbacks. Still can't make it work? Well... then put another character in those flashbacks, telling what happened to them. A flashback within a flashback. A flashbackback! It worked for Inception, didn't it?
My goodness that was awful writing for this episode. Awful and lazy.
Brillint episode where we finally learn what happened to Sydney in her lost years. The story is very well done and the reveal at the end is just so iconic.
