The ending made me fell a lot more interested in this show. :D

She raped him. She used theromones, and he said "That's enough" and then she forced him, and said "Don't fight it"

Since i've made a comment, may as well talk about what i've seen so far. Its been pretty good, yeah. The look of the futuristic world is good, as is some of the more advanced technology in how it works. I like some of the philosophical consequences and possibilities of the whole consciousness being backed up into another person. I like the characters and how the story is progressing so far.

I am trying. I am trying to enjoy this.

The scene where Takeshi enters into the cell of Lizzie was so great, I loved the edit, the filters, and the colors. It was the best of this chapter.

I've seen the mother of the police playing a Hispanic mother in other series, it comes out very natural

Why does everyone talk to each other as if it's the first time they meet, commenting on life choices and habits? Feels like forced exposition because the producers think viewers are too dumb to pick up on subtle queues.

Why is there even more nudity than in Game Of Thrones and Blade Runner? If you can't do it right, just adding more and more won't make it look good. I don't mind it as such, but to me it feels like trying to copy GoT and BR but not... quite... getting it. I realize this is probably a very subjective matter, but then again I'm not a reviewer.

Why can't they agree on how to pronounce Kovacs' name? This isn't realistic - it's annoying.

Visually, it's might impressive. I like the art direction and design choices. The various languages are well done with minimal accents from what I can tell and Takeshi's skill of anticipating people's actions reminds me of the Social Enhancer augmentation from Deus Ex.

Two episodes down and this series has yet to disappoint me. Great mystery so far immersed in one of the best sci-fi series I have seen in ages.

It doesn’t bother me that the characters are explaining the world through dialogue. It’s a complex world and since I haven’t read the book I’m glad about any form of clarification. Takeshi has been asleep for 250 years, so it feels natural that he needs some help as well.

The episode seems to still focusing on world building. Showing the rich world Takeshi dwells in - the multicultural police department, the violent-bent strip club, the war memorial museum, etc. As with the previous, it manages to show the richness of the world. However, at times, at the expense of convincing characters/dialogue.

A lot of characters talk to each other like they're trying to explain something about the world. It feels like a forced exposition - it is felt the most with the dialogue between Takeshi and the kid in museum (the kid serving nothing but as an exposition device) also Ortega and her mom. I think there are better ways to establish the nuance of the world without shoving an exposition.

Pace seems to be slower than the previous episode, which I suspect is related to the continuous world building.

How much did the Cyberpunk 2077 guys inspired themselves on this show? Love all the similarities! Specially the "brain dance" in this episode specifically

The philosophical narration cued me of Max Payne. How come religion still prevails. People are reborn and brought back to life yet they speculate God.
