From this first episode, it feels like this series doesn't know what it wants to be. One story of a renovation told over time and two interiors shown to us complete. There was so little connection between the ongoing renovation and the completed interiors that it felt like I was watching parts of two different series, either of which would have been a good series, but combined felt… haphazard and clumsy to me.
