Great episode. Set in the 1700s but it felt like it was commentary on today: misogyny, the pandemic and the cult of stupidity.
I'm not sure what was worse, the acting or the writing. Yeah, it was the acting... but the writing might have been worse... revolting episode either way
This is actually based on truth. People thought that the plague was caused by dead bodies arising in the night and infecting them, so they’d dig up the bodies and remove the heart.
Well the man hate continues into season 2 ...
Quite interesting plot. With the right pacing and enough drama inbetween, could have even worked as a full season of American Horror Story. Sadly, they just pulled a Ryan Murphy with an ending that doesn’t quite stick. Random acts of murder that cheapens the story overall.
This episode is kinda messed up :flushed:
Way cooler than the previous one and better written, i dont know if it was the setting or the script but it was better. I think its cool how they used the horror in a way it ended being just human stupidity and not a supernatural thing, but it would be nice to see more supernatural horror in the show. The thing that i hated was the kid, why are all kids on this show monters?
Another Hollywood story of an evil preacher/religion... Yawn.
Hmmm this one is gross. It does get better though.
People's stupidity is truly horrific. Other than that, not a very horror story. Quite expected ending.
The Child Abuse in this episode is disgusting.

Well, that was disgusting!
Not bad but the first three episodes were way better to me.
