One of the better episodes of season one, essential to the plot and to the development of Wolfram & Hart as the mutli-season Big Bad. There's minimal humor, being more propelled by heist thriller dynamics, but the dark and menacing tone of the law firm is fairly intoxicating-- kudos to the episode's composer and director.
This episode largely centers around Lindsey's backstory and character, as well as setting up Angel's role in prophecy. Sam Anderson is so perfectly creepy as an evil layer, a man with a salient ethos of will to power. Wesley continues to grow into a serious and competent character.
