Argon 2017

the politics , ethics and truth .. there is no single big bad guy to be taken down but this short series has such an impact on journalism.

I only watched it since Netflix is soon delisting the series but this was a hidden gem. I have seen a fair share of journalistic show but this one doesn’t focus on taking a big bad guy and focuses what reporters do and need to do !

Journalist are not heroes ! News is not something to be believed but judged ; whether it be a reporter or viewer.

I think current world with Fake new spread every news channels these words will etch in heart.

Also its regrettable that we lost a talented actor in Kim Jook huk to a car accident ; I have only seen him in Reply1988 but his screen presence in this show was big factor in the show being such an entertainer.

In the end there is no happy after in the show ; it shows the path to truth

Truly awesome TV show, well worth watching. Nicely shot, with a capable director and well acted, this show was quite a pleasant find for me. Even though the cultures are different (and so the reactions to daily struggles are different) - and I'm speaking as a European, the acting is both powerful and quite subtle enough to make you invested in the characters and their lives. Even though there are at this time only eight episodes, the characters have shown interpersonal relationships, and personal growth.

I hope there will be more seasons (even though at this time it says the show has ended), because it has potential and it would be a shame to only produce one season.
The death of the lead actor Kim Joo-hyuk is terrible and makes this show one of his last projects. I can't say I'm familiar with his work, but his performance in this show, and those of his co-stars will make me look into their other work.
Once again, a show well worth your time, and it can also be very conveniently found on Netflix.
