Incredible episode, probably the best episode in the series. I love the island stuff so seeing the island taking up most of the episode's screen time was great. Slade Wilson and Oliver's relationship that's formed is amazing and getting Manu Bennett on this show is a treat, really good actor that can only make the island story even better. Great action and further exploration of Oliver's journey on the island.
Felicity finally joins team arrow. the first 13 episodes were slightly weaker just coz she wasn’t a main character yet

this is the first time we get a flashback centric episode where the present day story takes a backseat
and it's a great episode
slate is a great character
and all the training stuff is fun to watch

I like that the difference in skill between Slade and Oliver on the island was pretty realistic. Oliver struggled and had his life saved by Slade against the soldier in the tower who was most likely less skilled in comparison to the soldiers patrolling the area and Slade took out four or five of them in less than five seconds. With that in mind, I wonder how much a fight Oliver would give Slade if they end up fighting now.
