That episode was crazy.
We've got the probably unmatched sync attacks of Levi's squad and more of the Female Titan's way of obliterating scouts.
And then the mad fight between Eren and her and how he frightens her deeply. His pure madness and unrelentless thirst for revenge pushing her around till she sees her one chance. And she takes it. Ouch.
And don't forget Mikasa and her zippy way of slicing her up.
I have to admit that I forgot big parts of the first season. I'm glad I'm rewatching it in preparation for season 4.

Honestly, why not consider this the greatest episode I have ever watched? Everything, AND I MEAN EVERYTHING, about this episode was just perfection. I can honestly say, this is my new favorite episode of all time. Now I know what you are thinking. "If this is his favorite episode, just imagine how many Attack On Titan Episodes will be in his top twenty.". Like I said before, this is most likely the greatest TV show of all time at this point, but I am not going to say it yet, since this is only the first season. I can say that this is definitely the best first season of all time, though. This was just a perfect episode.
