For any brave soul following my write-ups on here, I reviewed this episode and the last one as one big finale, so my thoughts on what happened in part 3 are in the entry for part 4.

Wow! The best part of this episode was definitely the fight between Zuko and Azula.

Engineer: "So, do you know whose birthday it is?"
Crew member: "I can't believe the captain remembered my birthday! He really does care!"
[The bomb bay doors open and all the crew members fall into the ocean. The crew members swim up for air.]
Engineer: "Happy birthday."

Awesome firebending does not disappoint.

Absolutely epic. Azula’s breakdown is incredible, well-earned, and perfectly depicted.

Sometimes you just wanna get lost in the spectacle of the whole thing. "Into the Inferno" is almost entirely spectacle but it's flawless spectacle, some of the best in it's field in terms of sheer emotional power and animation quality. As each of the major players begin their battles, each one as just as large scale as the last and invoke such a raw power to their overall impact. Zuko vs. Azula is the obvious standout just from a sheer visual perspective cause my god - the fire effects! The fluid animation! The choreography! It's all incredible stuff and the music as well, courtesy of the ever amazing Jeremy Zuckerman might be in it's finest moments here.

Everything else is stellar too. Aang vs. Ozai is a ton of fun and very anime in it's approach, reminding me of the best of Dragon Ball Z in it's layout. Sokka, Toph, and Suki get a ton to do as well with the more grunt work approach of their plan, and the decision to have them literally crash it into the rest of the fleet is such a great visual. This is how you do big, blockbuster action correctly.
