Beware the tag line “Inspired by true events”. This bares little similarity to the actual Lidingöigan gang said to inspire the series, starting with the fact that those criminals were men, not girls. However, these girls lend themselves to good storytelling. The casting is excellent and the characters are believable. There is some great young talent on display here. One of the things I liked about this project is that it defies the trope that criminals are masterminds. It is rarely the case, and, in this, the mistakes and errors the girls make sell the fact that they were just young women on a lark totally unprepared for the consequence. I found the 6 episodes entertaining and I’m ready for a second season. I give this 1st season a 7 (entertaining) out of 10. [Crime Drama]
