Barry: Season 4

4x05 tricky legacies

Well this is not what I expected. At first I assumed it was all in Barry's head but now it seems like we may have actually just gotten a massive time jump? Or maybe it really is all in his head? I love that I have literally no idea how this show is going to end, it keeps me on my toes and locked in each episode. Bill Hader is flexing his directorial skills hard this season, this episode was beautiful to look at. But it was also a little hard to watch, everything felt so drab and depressing, and Barry was a bit insufferable, but I know that's the point.

Umm… what the fuck was that?!

walking on the empty dry land

"Look at everything God's given us, John"

Okay, that was weird. I'm presuming all that was going on in Barry's noggin.

Weird!

The better-call-saul-ification of Barry. I love to hate this. Excited for how it ends.

Oh no, I hate time jumps. They just destroyed Hank's relationship in the previous episode, and know this... I loved the previous seasons, but I'm really not liking this one.

Heh! Think this episode was to fill the season out… It will probably all make sense eventually I guess, but this was definitely a watch the paint dry episode!‍:dizzy:

Urgh... this sucked. Slow and boring - this show is limping towards it's end.

Holy shit Barry is fucked up, what an abusive relationship with … everyone?!

In term of final season's identity change, Sally somehow has it rougher than Kim Wexler.

Wild episode. It's not so much that things haven't changed and that Barry will be back to killing. Since we see him in this episode, it's like he's already confident. He really doesn't have doubts anymore.

Overall, I like the idea of domestic life having this background. It's like Hader is saying "this is actually what your life is based upon".

This is going to be a very divisive episode. At times, it reminded me of the Breaking Bad episode where Walt is alone at a cabin.
