Overall I enjoyed these episodes - certainly don't think they warrant the criticism given.
This being said, this episode ended particularly abruptly, with many things left unanswered. I have heard that they are going to continue the series in 2020, but we'll see about that. Hopefully they return to the 1997 style of animation.
I found this episode particularly good - very interesting to see how the characters have evolved throughout the journey and bonded together - especially in regards to Guts, who would certainly not have accepted and trusted people who he barely knew - and were trying to kill him in the case of Farnese - just a few weeks ago.
