The writers are all over the place with season 2. Maybe they were writing while they had COVID.

I was happy to see Ryan P in a new show after Shooter ended and based on the poster, that's what I expected to get. Guess I was wrong. If you watch the first episode, you'll see what I mean. Moving on to the next show.

I have to agree that this appears to be on par with what the CW puts out. I was hoping for a thrilling murder/abduction investigation. What I gleaned from the first episode is that this is a half-hearted attempt at bringing to light the presence of human trafficking. Unfortunately, there's just too many glaring holes in the reality of it all.

Well I was looking forward to watching this and what a load of garbage !

Very much disappointed with the whole Ryan Phillippe misdirection. I started watching because he was advertised to be in it (false advertising really). Maybe for the best anyhow. I loved him in Shooter and he deserves a better series to helm. I finished watching the season to see what would happen. It was okay, a little cheesy, nothing special. Don't need to watch a 2nd season.

I have to disagree with the top 3 popular comments here.

This is a great show. It is filled with surprising twists and powerful characters. Of course, there are some mediocre things in this show as with most shows these days, but the twists in this show are quite outstanding. I am very much looking forward to season 2.

This was one of my favourite network series of the last two years. The story arc, the cast, the performances, the tension in the first season, the cinematography, all combined to sustain me as I waited for the episodes to drop over time (I prefer series to drop a season all at once, but, alas, networks are still clinging to old school release schedules). The second season didn’t have the same tension but the characters still kept my interest. I give this series an 8 (great) out of 10. [Crime Drama]

How did this show get season 2 when there are so many great shows that get cancelled.

this show is great other than ryan phillipe not being on it anymore. it is never boring always waiting for the next twist. great action and mysterty/thriller.and for abc really pleasent surprise.and kathryn winnick and kylie bunbury awesome

What's this obsession with realism in works of fiction, these are not documentaries get over it already. maybe some of us don't want that! realism is overrated. It feels weird and ackward at some points but overall unexpected and it draws you in. it was a good show I liked it and the insane plot lines. you never knew what was gonna happen next. a lot of the characters are memorable and likeable they make up for the awkward parts. for those who want to watch but are worried about the ending, it didn't get cancelled on a cliffhanger go for it.

Kylie Bunbury and Katheryn Winnick are the reason I'm still watching this (S03)

I can't believe there's going to be another season of this while so much better shows are getting cancelled.
It's so boring and there's soo many inconsistencies I don't even know where to start.
I feel bad for her to go from Vikings to this.. And apparently being stuck in it for another season too.

What a boarding series, it could have the potential but ruined by the slow-motion script and acting. Will try to finish this 1st season and believe me no 2nd season guaranteed.

Could have been so much better, if the two bad guys didn't remind me so much of the two guys from Home Alone. I just can't take them serious. They are clumsy and dumb. That makes some scenes of the show involuntarily funny.

One could mention the inconsistent script, the nonsense of the twists, the weak direction, the continuous narrative holes, the flimsy characters... All in the service of one of the worst thrillers of the season, a kind of soap-opera in disguise of police drama.

This would have made a pretty good, longer mini-series. They should have wrapped it up in the first 16 episodes and ended it. Now, in season 2, they drag along a dying, small remnant of their original story, but mainly tell a totally different, unrelated and uninteresting story.

Can’t believe this show is created by a major network. Did they outsource the writing to elementary school kids in another country?

I don't know about the 18 wheeler...but human trafficking is believable...

Not really sure what to think. I kinda wanna know what is going to happen but the plot seems to unrealistic.

Ronald kidnaps the 2 teenage girls cause he had the opportunity to do it. Was not planned. They can't be used for there human trafficking business. But they are a big threat because they have family looking for them. They kill without hesitation, Cody & Fishermen, why don't they just kill the girls dump them somewhere far away and leave it at that. The plot does not add up, it seems they want them to be found or something. I don't get it.

Gonna keep watching though see where this leads, maybe i'm missing something or maybe they had plans from the start all together although the last episode seems to contradict that theory.

In season 3 they have Reba McEntire. She should’ve just kept to singing. And she really needs to stop taking botex, she looks like the female version of The Joker.

I'm here to watch Jensen Ackles.

This is worst show I've ever seen in my life, the amount of time they put into the writing seems like someone wrote this on the crapper.

I was extremely disappointed with the fact that Ryan Phillippe was so prominently featured in the promotion of this show only to be killed off at the very beginning. I lost interest in it pretty quickly after that. Now that Jensen Ackles has joined season 3 I might tune in again and check it out.

season 1 was good but for some reason season 2 is so bad it is painful to watch.

I think season 2 is turning out to be much better than the first season. Katheryn Winnick is the reason I held on to the first season. Her character gets a personality in the second season, which is great.

Maybe the show’s budget increased in season 2 as well. There are a couple of well known names, including Jamie-Lynn Sigler in recurring role’s. I hope the writers make the story arcs a bit more interesting. It is a detective/cop show after all.

I quite enjoyed it, Not often the apparent hero is removed so early on. I assume it's a trial to possible extend the series?

i like this show.i rarely ever watch abc .but this is decent show.it still could have been better but its okay.station 19 is the only other show i watch on abc.and its no chicago fire or 911 but its okay.cbs and nbc and fox usually.i like kathryn winninck been seeong her in a lot of things lately.but i admit i thought the show was going to be even better but i have to finish watching now
