Shit just got real.
The whole season was more or less a long dialogue leading to this final epic battle of words.
Most of the episodes were good, at times hard to follow and sometimes too long. But the finale made up for it big time. The repartee is mounting in an explosive last statement by Axe that leaves you and Chuck speechless for a second but the parry comes right around the corner...
''Because when I pull a deal off the table, I leave Nagasaki behind.''
Holy shit that conversation and that acting by both guys is legendary.

Love to watch the Government looters denounce Ayn Rand when their backs are securely pressed against the wall by REASON.
What a great show. Looking forward to season 2 and how the characters grow. The storyline could take a number of turns at this point. A shame it will be a long wait.

Great show so far but I feel more could be done on the character development and depth, some more back story on Axe would be great. It's a good show if you want an easy watch. I have a feeling season two (if it gets renewed) will focus on the back story a bit more. You're sort of on the bankers side which is strange but as the show goes on you do start feeling more empathy towards the district attorney played brilliantly by Paul Giamatti. Hopefully they focus more on the prosecution and warm you to the characters on this side further in season 2 as they do seem to be doing this in the later episodes of the first season. Worth a watch for sure.
