Slow plot. Poor cast. Super slow
It’s rare that a show’s characters act so stupidly that I’m left feeling more angry than entertained, but this episode accomplished it. Are we supposed to root for the zombies? Because that’s the direction I’m headed.
What a bunch of dumb characters. This show is starting to piss me off.
So, I'm up to episode 4 now, and I gotta say, this show is annoying the f*** out of me already. The script has the actors are doing really dumb things, or thinking retardedly in a show that's obviously trying to portray a "what if this was real" light. Now that these kids/teenagers are introduced in episode 3, I'm too curious to see what's that about to stop watching. This is almost like watching a TV show version of "30 Nights," but in my opinion the script for "Black Summer" could have been done a lot better than that. I just hope that I won't be disappointed by the time I finish this season. Luckily, there are only 8 episodes.

This episode was so useless... one of the most useless and irracional episodes ever seen in zombie tv shows... this show is just more of the same... why is it that in zombie apocalypse tv shows we just see people fighting people instead of people fighting zombies and trying to survive? Why is it that in zombie tv shows people always think that is better to fight amongst themselves? I think it is time for writers to start writing interesting zombie shows were we see people joining together and having some zombie action instead, trying to find a way to survive and maybe find a way to end the apocalypse or something. But even people fighting people, this episode was just ridiculous!!!

Why are these characters so fucking dumb? Why? In zombie movies, there's always that white woman who tries to do the morally right thing and fucks everything up as a result. Then there's that dumb character who freaks out and runs away. And always that dumb guy who doesn't know what the fuck is going on at all. When the bearded white guy asked "keys for what?" I lost it. Keys to your mom's house goddamn it! You are trying to escape the fucking school and the doors are locked, what do you think the fucking keys will be for? And also that mute guy running away. Oh, you saw a couple of dead bodies? As if this isn't a zombie apocalypse and it's the first time you are seeing a dead body, smh. I was more angry at survivors' stupidity in this episode than I was afraid.
