9.5/10. Definitely one of the funniest episodes of the show. The comedy was layered on so thick, with a non-stop machine gun fire of humor in wordplay, physical comedy, and farce. Stephen Fry had a great return to the series as the Bombastic Duke of Wellington, a character who you felt you knew as soon as he stepped into frame. The insult humor and zany scheme was as on point as it's ever been in the show, from Blackadder's comment that the Prince and Baldrick don't have a brain cell between them, to his reading the cannon instructions, to the Prince realizing he left his cigarillo case on the dresser and returning to his state of repose. The McAdder stuff was a bit weak, but the twist at the end made up for it. One of the show's best outings in a season that felt a little sparser and more uneven than the last.
