Could do with a whole lot less of the audience whistling and "wooo!"-ing at our adolescent cast in swimsuits. Still, the scuba gimmick is well used in how it leads to that great POV shot of Corey exploring under the water. The family lesson about the heirloom is sweet if a bit pat. Ultimately never punches as hard as it could with either the comedy or drama, but is still fun. Though wow, the extreme backstory of Alan being a national championship boxer who lacks depth perception because his eyeball popped out in his final fight sure is a huge bit of backstory to suddenly swoop in from out of nowhere, and I'll be very curious if it ever comes back up again.
