UGGGGHHH... it was good, why did they go all BS high-tech near the end of season 2, with the nonsense gadgets?
I'm definitely going to miss Kate and Rick :(
The best show ever!!!! :)
I love it, it's great!!
"I killed Justin Marquette!". Good,Alexis appears
An amazing TV-serie with great actors.
this show is absolutely amazing!!!i love it
It is a guilty pleasure.
I think I'll give this show a go since it looks like it ended before all the politically correct BS started after 2016. Any warnings would be helpful before I get to involved. And done. I enjoyed this show a lot. Ending was, well, I'm just saying.
This show should really be titled “Beckett” because it is really about the growth of Beckett.
Castle is a classic case of a show overstaying its welcome. The first few seasons were great and it went downhill quick after that. The eighth season was horrible and the ending to the series was a joke -- the end of the seventh season was actually a pretty good end for the series, but they had to go on and that just ruined in.
lol i didn't know there were any books until now. After reading about it on wikipedia it seems these books are really popular. One of the books reached #6 on the New York Times Best Seller list. I think these books are written by a ghostwriter, so we may never know who actually wrote the books.
BTW: Only 8 more days until the beginning of the new season! :D
For 8 years this has been one of my favorite shows. The charisma and childlike curiosity of Rick "Castle" is entirely enjoyable, and it was joyous to see the interactions with Kate, her typical procedure-centric attitude which occasionally revealed a similar mischievous persona underneath.
At some times this show was a standard (good) police procedural "murder of the week" type, but occasionally let itself stretch and entertain more fantastical story-lines. Secret underground bunkers stretching across NYC, a man who couldn't die, a hundred year battle against satanic cultists, a sword-fighting riddle hunt, and my favorite episode with actual ninjas.
Given the amazing cast of characters and story it was the greatest regret (and shock) to hear this show was canceled. It was obvious the showrunners didn't expect the cancellation either, as the season 8 finale ended up becoming the series finale, and it wasn't pretty. The show ended with a scene tacked onto the episode aftermath with only a voiceover and written screen message saying "7 years later". Makes me incredibly sad to have the show end this way, but I can say without hesitation that these 8 seasons are entirely worth watching. Sit tight and enjoy.
Decent drama cop show, enjoyed watching it. I thing the ending was worth a little more thinking about rather than this, but oh well.
Farewell Castle and Beckett. It was fun watching the show.
This series starts off really well. It has a good mix of drama and comedy and it only has a couple of "glee" moments.
I think it's probably best to stop watching at the end of Season 7.
Season 8 pales significantly by comparison (of which the highlight is MQ in S08E03).
The end is atrocious.
Not gonna lie, I loved the show up until season six. The last two seasons just didn’t do it for me. As much as I love the chemistry between Richard and Kate, there is only so much their compatibility can do. I’m not saying that the last two seasons are bad, simply that they weren’t as good as the beginning. They felt a bit repetitive and lost in the plot.
Really good crime show. Funny and weird at times. The characters are lovely. It is the to-go show for those wanting something nice that isn't too serious. It feels like mixturing the lightness of friends with criminal shows like CSI, a pinch of lovable characters and Nathan Fillion as the cherry on top. Stana Katic is also amazing, Huertas and Dever's friendship shines as the show goes one. They aren't the perfect bromance like in scrubs, but it is still a nice bromance. Quinn's character is a little weird as she is so perfect that I haven't even met someone that perfect irl.
Overall, watch it if you want something light that you can keep it on while cleaning or even eating dinner-lunch.
Overall good but Alexis is a spoiled brat though
This show had his upside down times but overall i liked it! i'm gonna miss it so much!
This is the last season..
We really enjoyed this series and while it was somewhat sad to see it end it also is best to go out on top.
The mix of crime and humor has always done miracles for this show. The chemistry between all the characters makes for excellent television. Stana Katic and Nathan Fillion are pure magic when they work together, they bring so much life and depth to their characters.
Fillion is awesome....fan of captain castle.....
I've been watching the show since the pilot bee aired .. Great show , of course Nathan Fillion is the reason i'm watching in the first place .. The hot detective Stana Katic absolutely amazing ..
Castle will probably always be my favorite show (ignoring season 8). The first 4 seasons are by far the best. Seasons 5-7 had a lot of great moments. Season 8 on the other hand... it took me almost 4 years to finally finish it. They should've ended the show with season 7. It would've been the perfect finale. Season 8 was just lost. The story was meh, the new characters were meh and Beckett was so OOC at times that it hurt to watch. Way to ruin a great show and give it the worst ending possible. I will gladly skip season 8 in future rewatches and just pretend that it doesn't exist.
Stana Katic leaving, I don't even know if it will truly be Castle anymore without the love interest and chemistry between them. Tamala Jones is going away after season 9 as well.
On another note, it's a fun series that doesn't take its self too seriously in the Crime solving department. Who can't love Nathan Fillion?
Love this show. Cleaver, well written and cute.
Pretty much just another crime drama show, although it trends on the quirky side, similar to Rizzoli & Isles and Bones. The one thing about this show that keeps me watching though is Captain Hammer. Nathan Fillion could have a show about tying shoelaces and I would probably still watch.
amazing show, especially the first 5 seasons
This is without a doubt the best show ever. Each episode is so intriguing- great writing and the characters are the ultimate!
First few seasons were great.
I've come to the conclusion that this is a show is about two psychopaths. You have two people who week after week are tortured, shot, stabbed, kidnapped, beaten or in some other manner nearly killed, yet, afterwards it's a romantic dinner, some sexual innuendos and work as usual the following morning. These are two sick twisted individuals.
I've been a big fan of castle but honestly the whole love interest side of the story is now pointless. After 4 years of watching them *ussy out at telling each other how they feel I'm now at the point of.. who cares? The "sexual tension" that was in the earlier seasons is all but dead as Stana ages yet desperately clings to that runway modelesque beauty she had years ago.
At this point, I'm a fan of the detective story and give a groan of disgust when the love story kicks in.
I love the show, all the time I have to think about it! My favourite character is Kate cause she's so tough and so pretty! The love scenes and the will-they-wont-they games are the best things and that's also the reason because I watch the show! My favourite season is the fifth cause the main characters are finally together and they are so cute as a couple. But I think there could be more love scenes between "Caskett"!
I LOVE THE SHOW!!!!!!
good show, but it would be nothing without Nathan Fillion's fantastic charm
I'm currently reading the first book, Heat Wave. Till now, is pretty good.
I just watched this entire series in less than 2 weeks; I couldn't stop thinking about it, and I always wanted more and more... It's both the best and worst series I've ever watched in my life: it's frustrating but fascinating, it's incredibly well thought out and the writers pay attention to the smallest details and even though Castle and Beckett's relationship plays a big role, it doesn't feel like it's its only strength. I don't regret getting into it, even though it ruined my life.
Castle aka the "Nathan Fillion" Show!
I quit. I can't watch another episode. Castle is gutter trash sprinkled with un-skeptical nonsense. Goodbye and good riddance.
The last two seasons of Castle the show has been trying desperately to grow out of its Sacramento roots and shoe-horn the imbecilic detectives into federal cases as if having Castle's stupid grin next to an FBI agent would confer prestige onto Castle.
For some reason some people making the editorial decisions have not been happy keeping Castle in California.
Agreed, donno why firefly was dropped down.
Does anyone know who wrote the books? They're rly dope.
Fillion is awesome. Heh, space cowboy. Weirdly, the books are good too.
Love this show. ...cannot wait for the next episode. Come faster!!
I don¨t getting it open this app. Help me, and excuse my mistakes
How do I start the episode.
Love this show w awesome
For the moron that spoke about this being set in California and Sacramento...are you watching the same show everyone else is? The setting is New York City. Before you criticize something please know what you're talking about. The setting you mention actually sounds like The Mentalist.
OK so I'm a TV addick I Love this show very entertaining
I just watch it because is funny!
Wife makes me watch it..lol
It s a funny way to spend evenings!
